BSP discusses issues related to price rise, reservation

Jalandhar, Jul 2: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today discussed the issues of price rise, reservation to OBCs in higher educational institutions and political situation in states of this region, at its meeting here.

The meeting chaired by the party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati was attended by office bearers of state units of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.

The issue of assembly elections in Punjab also figured at the meeting.

Ms Mayawati had already announced here yesterday that the party would contest all 117 assembly seats in the state on its own.
