AI flight from Lucknow makes emergency landing

New Delhi, July 2: A Delhi-bound Air India flight, carrying 161 passengers, made emergency landing at Palam Airport here this morning.

A senior airport security official said Air India flight 891 from Lucknow declared emergency at 0945 hrs due to shutdown of its second engine.

The flight landed at 0954 hrs and all the passengers, including the crew, were safe, he said.
