9-member Bhutan team to visit polling centres

Pondicherry, Jul 2 (UNI) The nine member Bhutan team currently camping in Pondicherry will visit the different counting centres arranged to count the votes polled in the Local Body elections.

According to offical sources, the team will be taken around different centres so that they could understand the counting methods clearly.

The team led by Chief of Elections Kaka Tsering was on a visit to Pondicherry to learn more about elections as Bhutan is planning to switch over to democracy.

The team which had discussions with the election officals here had also visited the polling booths in all the three phases of the elections.
