80-year-old woman raped, murdered in Noida

Noida, July 2 (UNI) An 80-year-old woman was raped and murdered allegedly by her neighbour here last night, police said today.

Police said the victim, a resident of Aghapur Village in Sector 49, was raped and murdered by Manvir, (45) in her house.

The accused was arrested this morning, police added.

''After raping the victim, he smothered her. He was inebriated at the time he attacked the victim,'' a police official said.
