4 die in bus accident

Sidhi (MP), July 2: Four people died today and eight were injured when a speeding Tata Sumo rammed into a private bus in this district at Tendua nullah, police said today.

DSP N N Jharia told UNI that the Sumo, which was carrying nine passengers, was going from Sidhi to Bahri when it collided with a bus coming from the opposite direction at 0810 hrs.

Tata Sumo owner and driver Raghvendra Tiwari, Santosh Kumar Singh (35) and Ram Milan Singh (52) were killed on the spot, while Vinod Singh (16) succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

The injured five from the Tata Sumo and three bus passengers, were admitted to hospital, he said.
