4 boys feared drowned in Gomti

Lucknow, July 2 (UNI) Four boys are feared drowned in river Gomti in Thakurganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.

Police said Ranu, Sagar, Asif and Bade were taking bath in the river at Gaughat this afternoon, when they went missing.

Meanwhile, the rescue operation was getting hampered due to rapid flow of river following rainfall in its catchment area.

The bodies were yet to be retrieved.
