Unauthorised stalls razed

Mumbai, July 1 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) today demolished around twelve illegal stalls near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and recovered a total fine of Rs 25,000.

BMC spokesperson Dadasaheb Shivjatak said additional municipal commissioner R A Rajiv himself led the demolition squad this evening.

Mr Shivjatak said the BMC is taking action against illegal stall owners, road-side fast-food handcarts and other unauthorised structures across the metropolis.
