Sustained,serious process needed to address all J

Srinagar, July 1 (UNI) PDP president Mehbooba Mufti today said a sustained peace process will help address all issues for restoration of permanent peace in the state and the sub-continent.

Seeking cooperation from the people for implementation of her party's mission to achieve long lasting and dignified peace in the state, Ms Mufti said peace and stability could be restored in sub- continent only through a serious and sustained dialogue process.

Addressing a series of meetings during her visit to Pulwama district in south Kashmir today, she said for consolidation of the peace process, new initiatives are essential.

''With determined leadership on both sides, progress can be achieved towards a peaceful settlement of all the political and economic issues in the sub-continent,'' Ms Mufti added.
