RPF personnel get training to fight militancy
Kathua, Jammu, July 1 (UNI) In order to fight militancy and detect cyber crimes, a one-year training was imparted to RPF personnel at the Police Training College here.
An impressive passing out parade was organised yesterday by the Northern Railway for the 1,042 personnel, including 773 male and 269 female, and Railway Board Chairman J P Batra took the salute.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Batra extolled the services of the training college and hoped that the training will stand in good stead for the recruits in discharging their day-to-day responsibilities.
Mr Batra also praised the state government for giving an opportunity to the Railway Protection Force to get their fresh recruits trained.
