RIMS functioning disturbed due to interference by militants

Imphal, July 1: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal, one of the biggest hospital in the region, is unable to function properly due to interference by various militant outfits.

Sources in the hospital said here today that even the Superintendent of RIMS could not attend office for the last 15 days due to this problems.

The employees in RIMS said Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh had also appealed to all to disturb the premier medical institute, which would be uprgraded to the status of AIIMS.
