Rainfall continues in state

Imphal, July 1: Manipur experienced sporadic rainfall as the climate remained pleasant throughout in the state.

The minimum temperature recorded so far was 22.2 degree Celsius, while the maximum was 29 degree Celsius.

According to met officials the humidity was 97 per cent, which was comparatively higher than the last few days.

The rainfall recorded during the past 24 hours was 12 mm.

Meanwhile, tension prevailed at Kanchup after the Singda Multipurpose project developed some cracks due to landslides.

Special efforts are being taken by the administration to rectify the defect.
