Rainfall continues in Manipur

Imphal, July 1 (UNI) The temperature remained cool in Manipur due to sporadic rainfall.

The minimum temperature recorded so far was 22.2 degree celcius, while the maximum was 29 degree celcius.

According to met officials the humidity was 97 per cent, which was comparatively higher than the last few days.

The rainfall recorded during the past 24 hours was 12 mm.

Meanwhile, tension prevailed at Kanchup after the Singda Multipurpose project developed some cracks owing to landslides.

Special efforts are being taken by the administration to rectify the anomoly.
