Multi-party MP delegation on Japan visit
New Delhi, July 1 (UNI) A multi-party delegation of Members of Parliament is on a nine-day visit to Japan from today to promote and strengthen ties between New Delhi and Tokyo.
During the visit, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), the four MPs will call on and hold discussions with several leaders.
The delegation is led by BJP's Manvendra Singh and comprises Mr Milind Deora and Madhu Goud Yaskhi from the Congress and Mr Tathagatha Satpathy of the Biju Janata Dal.
The delegation will also highlight India's potential as a major player in the Asian and the emerging World context besides strengthening economic and bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
