Jamiat Ahl-E-Hadees has no links with terrorist organisations

Hyderabad, July 1 (UNI) Eminent Islamic scholar and a preacher in the UAE Shaik Zafar-Ul-Hasan Madani has said that the Jamiat Ahl-E-Hadees had no links with the terrorist organisation, Lashkar-e-Toiba.

Speaking to newspersons here yesterday, he said the Jamiat was fighting against terrorism in India and Pakistan. The organisation's main objective was to preach Islam and educate Muslims about the importance of the Quran.

Mr Madani said the Jamiat would conduct a national conference on ''terrorism'' on July 21 and 22 in New Delhi, in which different religious leaders and intellectuals would address the conference where people from different religions would attend.

Mr Madani said Jamiat was fighting terrorism by organising seminars and meetings in India and Pakistan.
