Hooda launches Overseas Placement Bureau
Sonipat, July 1 (UNI) The Haryana government would soon formulate its new youth policy to provide adequate employment opportunities to the youth of the state within the country and abroad.
This was disclosed by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing a public gathering after launching an Overseas Placement Bureau (OPB) at a function organised by the state Employment Department here today. Finance, Labour and Employment Minister Birender Singh presided over the function.
While highlighting the main advantages of the OPB, Mr Hooda said it would give necessary information regarding various employment opportunities and job oriented courses available in different top institutions and organisations in foreign countries, where the youth could get jobs. He said there was sufficient potential in the youth of the country as they earned a name for themselves in top professional institutions in various foreign countries.
By launching this OPB, the state government also aimed at bringing the youth of Haryana on par with those who were serving abroad in various countries,he added.
He said the entire credit of the all round development in Punjab and Kerala went to the NRIs, but the people, especially the youth of Haryana did not get appropriate opportunities to get relevant information about placements in foreign countries. He said that the Bureau would now provide all necessary information and guidance.
