Four arrested for transporting illicit liqour

New Delhi, Jul 1 (UNI) Police seized a truckload of illicit liqour, meant for distribution at illegal outlets in and around Delhi, from Timarpur in North Delhi and arrested four persons.

The arrests were made from Gopalpur Mod on the Outer Ring Road in Timarpur yesterday following a tip-off, according to the police.

The seizure contained 564 cartons of liquor, roughly amounting to more than 11,500 bottles.

Interrogation of the accused revealed that they worked for a trader named Gaurav Malhotra and his father Deep, who dealt in supplying illicit liqour to illegal outlets.
