Ex-TDP MP held for intimidating police: SP

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Jul 1 (UNI) Kurnool District Superintendent of Police Malla Reddy today said Former TDP MP Bhuma Nagi Reddy was arrested with his followers after he tried to intimidate the police with lethal weapons.

Talking to the media here, the SP said Nagi Reddy and 40 others tried to threaten the Circle Inspector of Allagadda with lethal weapons.

He said it was unbecoming of a leader of his stature to behave in such a manner and cautioned that any one trying to take law into his hands would not be spared.

MR Malla Reddy also said criminal cases were registered against the former MP and his followers.
