Cases against 3 US nationals for stealing info on company

Chennai, July 1 (UNI) The Cyber Crime Cell of the Central Crime Branch Police has registered cases against three US nationals, including a couple, for allegedly stealing proprietary training material and vital information relating to a US-based HR Company in the city.

In her complaint, Ms Sarada Srinivas, Managing Director Summit HR in India, said her organisation was a American company operating through its offices in the city and rendering HR-related outsourcing services to companies all over world.

One of their clients was US Personnel, a US-based payroll processing and HR outsourcing company with Mr Jeff De Loach as the CEO and Mr John David Mangan as the COO.

Ms Susan Mangan, wife of Mr John David Mangan, also an employee of US Personnel, was in the city working from the premises of Summit HR for the most part during the last six months.

During October last, Mr Deloach expressed his intention to have Mr David move to India and work from the premises of US Personnel to coordinate work handled by Summit HR.

Though they intially objected to the proposal, they acceded to the assurance given by Mr Jeff De Loach that the role of Mr David in India would only be supportive and not intrusive.

While so, in January this this year, Ms Srinivas said Mr Jeff met her Company Chairman Ranjan Sinha and informed his interest in acquiring part of her company's assets.

Upon this, we requested a formal letter of intent from Mr Jeff De Loach and told him until there was a signed letter, the matter should not be disccused by anybody.

Meanwhile, Mr David tried to get training materials of her company through one of their former employees, Firoz Pradhan, but was unable to get the required information.

At this point, Mr Jeff De Loach and Mr John David, without any valid permission, brought two of their associates from a local Indian company to her office, she said.
