5 killed, 20 injured in accident

Aligarh, July 1 (UNI) At least five people were killed and 20 others injured when a bus carrying a marriage party collided with a tree in Atrauli area here today.

Police Superintendent Atul Saxena said the accident occurred, when the bus was on way from Bulandshahr to Saasni Gate area of Aligarh town.

While, three passengers died on the spot, two others succumbed in the hospital.

Four of the deceased were identified as Chhote Lal (40), Jitendra (30), Raj Kapoor (18) and Brijendra (10).

Meanwhile, the condition of several of the passengers was stated to be critical.
