4 dead in hooch tragedy

Ferozabad, July 1 (UNI) At least four people have died after they allegedly consumed country liquor in Jasrana area here.

Police today said eight people had consumed hooch on Thursday during a marriage function at Tikagai village.

All of them took ill immediately. Later, four of them died yesterday.

However, four others are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Meanwhile, one person has been arrested in the case and the concerned country liquor shop sealed.
