Vice President on a two-day visit to Bihar
Patna, Jun 30: Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhwat is arriving here tomorrow on two-day visit.
Mr Shekhwat would participate in different functions and address a seminar on the role of peoples' representatives in poverty alleviation.
He will dedicate to the people "free medicine distribution centre", which would be run by the Bihar government to provide better medical care to the underprivileged.
The Vice-President will leave for New Delhi on June 2 after inaugurating a blood bank to be run by Red Cross society.
Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements had been made for the visit.
IG (Headquarters) Anil Kumar Sinha said final touches had been give to ensure foolproof security cover to Mr Shekhawat.
