Two Uzbek women arrested for overstaying
New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) Police today arrested two Uzbek women from Lajpat Nagar area of South Delhi for allegedly overstaying in the country.
The two women -- Homboro Dova and Nigoradi -- hailing from Uzbekistan and between 27-28 years of age, were arrested this afternoon following a tip-off, said sources.
During interrogation, they said they had been living in India for the last five years.
Investigations revealed that their visa and passport had expired and they had been overstaying here without valid documents.
