Two commit suicides in 2 separate incidents

Akola, June 30 (UNI) Two persons, including a minor, have committed suicides in two separate incidents here.

Police today said that in one incident, a minor who was depressed over not getting admission in the city's reputed college despite securing 64 per cent in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, committed suicide by hanging himself to death at his house in the old city area here yesteday.

The deceased has been identified as Shriram Subhash Sapdhare.

In another incident in the old city area yesterday, the dead body of the middle-aged farmer was found lying in the field, polie said.

The deceased, identified as Ramdas Ganpat Bhagat (45), allegedly committed suicide by consuming an insecticide. His motorbike was also found on the field, police said.

In both the instances, cases have been registered and further investigations are on, police added.
