Stanley Reservoir getting good inflow

Tiruchirapalli, Jun 30 : The Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery was getting good inflow due to the discharge from Kabini reservoir in Karnataka.

State PWD sources said the inflow into the reservoir was 6,017 rpt 6,017 cusecs and discharge 13,000 rpt cusecs.

The water level of the Dam stood at 103.360 rpt 103.360 ft this morning against its full capacity of 120 ft.

From the Grand Anaicut in Thanjavur District, about 3,810 rpt 3,810 cusecs of water was released for irrigation into the river Cauvery and Vennar, 1,804 rpt 1,804 cusecs into the Grand Anaicut Canal and 1,206 rpt 1,206 cusecs into the Coleroon river.
