Siddaramaiah to seek advise before joining Congress
Bangalore, June 29 (UNI) Former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and All India Progressive Janata Dal (AIPJD) leader Siddharamaiah today said he would take a decision on joining the Congress only after consulting his partymen, well wishers and people of constituency.
When contacted by UNI, Mr Siddaramaiah, who just arrived from New Delhi, confirmed that he had held talks with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other senior leader. However, he was tight-lipped over what transpired between them.
He merely said ''Before taking any decision I will consult my partymen, well wishers and people of my constituency.'' UNI MV RG SKB2106
