Ronaldo misses training before England match
MARIENFELD, Germany, June 30: Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo missed training today, still recovering from a thigh injury just over 24 hours before their World Cup quarter-final against England in Gelsenkirchen.
Team spokesman Afonso Melo told Reuters that Ronaldo was exercising separately but was still not totally fit. ''If he's not 100 percent fit, (coach Luiz Felipe) Scolari won't play him,'' he said.
