Rainfall continues in Manipur, farmers affected

Imphal, June 30 (UNI) Rains continued in Manipur affecting large portions of agricultural lands in the valley and hilly areas, where terrace cultivation is practiced.

According to the MET officials the state witnessed 17.8 mm rainfall in last 24 hours.

Weatherman predict heavy rainfall in next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 22.7 degree celsius while the maximum was 32.7 degree celsius.

Traffic on the National Highways got disrupted due to bad road conditions and landslides.
