Phenomenal growth of small-scale industries in Delhi: LG

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi today said the growth of small-scale industries in the national capital has been phenominal.

Speaking at the 73rd Annual Function of Delhi Factory Owners' Federation, he said industries played a vital role in building up the economy of any nation.

Considering various infrastructure constraints, special emphasis needed to be given on promotion of industries which could achieve optimum level of production without large demands on factory space, power, and also provide employment to skilled personnel, he added.

PHDCCI President Sushma Berlia and Delhi Factory Owners' Federation President J R Jindal were also present on the occasion.
