NSUI students blacken Professor's face,hand him to police

Mumbai June 30 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, activists of the National Students Union of India(NSUI) today blackened the face of their Physics Professor of Wilson College in south Mumbai and paraded him through the streets, before handing him over to the police.

The activists alleged that Professor Vilas Athavale had locked himself along with a female student in the laboratory and was found indulged in indecent behaviour this morning.

On being contacted Gamdevi Police said that First Information Report(FIR) has been filed and recording of the statements was under progress.
