Nolte group forays into Indian market

Bangalore, June 30 (UNI) The German-based Nolte Group, one of the leading manufacturers of wardrobes and bedroom ranges in Europe, today launched its products in the country in association with SJR group, a leading infrastructure and property developer in South India.

Addressing newspersons here, company Chairman George Nolte said Nolte, synonymous with style, quality and convenience, would offer its latest range of furniture collection through exclusive concept stores called 'Nolte Home Studio' in all major cities, starting from Bangalore.

He said the group, pioneers of production line techniques in furniture making and one of the world's largest producers of fitted kitchens and bedrooms, was in a strategic position to cater to the Indian consumers in sync with the latest in lifestyle and fashion trends. With its wide range of contemporary and varied lines of designs, Nolte would cater to customers across various segments from the young apartment owners to those living in bungalows.

SJR group Managing Director Bhupesh Reddy said that with the tie-up with Nolte Group, they were diversifying into other sectors.

Within two years, Nolte would open its showrooms in all the metro cities, he added.

He said India offered a vast furniture market with an estimated potential of over two billion Dollar and his group aimed at achieving a turnover of Rs 100 crore in the first year itself.
