man with tampered passport held

Kolkata, Jun 29 (UNI) Immigration authorities at the NSCBI airport detained a man who arrived here from Dhaka today on a Bangladesh Biman flight for posessing a tampered passport.

Officials told UNI that the Indian passport of the passenger Bidyut Biswas was found to be tampered.

Biswas was being interrogated till late night.
