Ranchi, Jun 30 (UNI) The Jharkhand RJD today decided to mark the party's tenth foundation day, scheduled on July five, in all districts of the state.

As per initial programme, Deogarh has been chosen as the venue for the occasion.

According to sources, there was difference of opinion among the party MLAs over the venue, but state party president Gautam Sagar Rana ruled out any such conflict.

Speculation was rife as five of the seven RJD MLAs in Jharkhand were understood to have favoured shifting allegiance towards BJP-led Arjun Munda government.

In his reaction to such reported inter-party conflict, Mr Rana said his support to Mr Babulal Marandi, former national vice- president of BJP who now heads the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha, was confined to the issues of corruption and extremism raised by the latter.

The party president claimed that misunderstanding among the party leaders had been sorted out.

Recently, five MLAs in the state expressed displeasure at Mr Rana for being Mr Marandi's supporter.

Mr Uday Shankar Singh, one of the party's leader, said decision to cancel the function was for the betterment of the party. The statewide programme would be beneficial for the party, he added.
