Heavy rain brings life to a standstill
Kohima, June 30 (UNI) Heavy downpour in Nagaland since last week have caused severe landslides in many places, cutting off the region from the rest of the country and bringing life to a standstill.
Tuensand, Kiphire and Longleng districts were the worst affected.
Col.Debendra Singh, Commanding officer of 15th Border Road Task Force (BRTF) here told UNI that his personnel are working round the clock to keep the National Highway 39 open.
