HC reserves orders on 'Da Vinci Code' screening in TN
Chennai, Jun 30 (UNI) Madras High Court today reserved orders on a petition challenging the Tamil Nadu government order suspending the screening of the controversial film 'The Da Vinci Code' in the state.
Ms Justice Praba Sridevan reserved orders after hearing elaborate arguments from both sides on a petition filed by Sony Pictures and Anuroshni Films, seeking to quash the order of Commissioner of Police dated June 1, suspending screening of the film for two months in the theatres in the state, and also impleading petitions by Janata Party President Dr Subramanian Swamy and Christian Renaissance Movement.
