Former K'taka Chief Minister S R Bommai hospitalised
Bangalore, June 30 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minsiter S R Bommai was admitted to a corporate hospital in the city today after he complained of breathlessness.
His son Basavaraj Bommai, also a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council, said the octogenarian leader was suffering from high blood pressure and an unstable heart condition. However, he was responding to treatment and his health condition was stable.
The Janata Dal (United) leader was the Chief Minister of Karnataka from August 1988 to April 1989 when the undivided Janata Party was in power.
