Eight injured as boiler bursts in steel scrap factory

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) Eight people were injured when a boiler in a factory in Shahdara area of North-East Delhi burst this afternoon.

Among the injured, two are said to be in a serious condition with 90 per cent and 50 per cent burn injuries, according to Fire Brigade sources.

All the injured have been admitted to the GTB Hospital.

The accident was reported at 1336 hrs and two fire engines brought the blaze under control at 1400 hrs.

The boiler burst at a steel scrap dismantling factory on G T Road in Shahdara.
