Bangalore, June 30 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today: Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Very heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Dharmasthala 19; Belthangadi 16; Karkala 15.
Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Bhagamandala, Kalasa 12 each; Sringeri 11; Bantwal, Subramanya, Thirthahalli 10 each; Sulya, Mudigere 9 each; Mani, Mulki, Puttur, Nilkund, Mangalore AP, Udupi, Koppa 8 each; Somwarpet, Kottigehara 7 each.
Other Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Kundapur, Virajpet, Humchadakatte, Sakleshpura 6 each.
Forecast valid until Sunday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at most places over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and at many places over ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri districts of North Interior Karnataka and Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka&South Interior Karnataka.
