Chargesheet against former BSNL general manager by CBI

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) The CBI today filed a chargesheet against a former general manager of the BSNL in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

The case was registered against R P S Panwar, GM BSNL, Muzaffarnagar in September 2003, for possessing assets worth Rs 54 lakh, which were not commensurate to his known sources of income, according to the CBI.

Searches conducted at his premises also led to the recovery of assets worth Rs 2.08 crore.
