CBI director calls on Jharkhand Governor

Ranchi, June 30 (UNI) CBI Direcor Vijay Shankar today called on Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi here.

Raj Bhavan sources here said it was a courtesy call, which lasted for about half-an-hour.

During the meeting, Principal Secretary to the Governor Amit Khare was also present.

Mr Shankar was here to appear before the Jharkhand High Court regarding the multi-crore fodder scam, where he assured speedy trial of big names linked to the case.
