Admission process in Delhi Govt schools extended by 10 days

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) The Delhi Government today extended till July 10 the admission process to its schools.

Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely announced that the the process, which was to close today, will now continue for the next ten days.

''This step has been taken to help the large number of students and guardians seeking admission in the government schools,'' he said.

He said there was a continued demand to extend the last date by students, guardians and RWA's from all over Delhi.

An official notice to this effect has been issued to all schools to make the necessary arrangement.

Mr Lovely said since the admission process was online also the total number of students had touched the record figure of 2.10 lakh last year.
