Warrant out against MP DGP!

Jabalpur, June 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued bailable warrants against state Director-General of Police Swaraj Puri, Secretary (Home) Satyaprakash and others after deeming as contempt the non-implementation of its judgement for raising salaries of executive police personnel in accordance with the Chaudhry scale.

Justice Abhay Nayak heard a contempt plea by the Special Armed Force Eighth Battalion's A K Ray and others.

Arrest warrants were also issued yesterday against Eighth Battalion Commandant S S Kaurav, Jabalpur Treasury Officer Pankaj Mohan and Jabalpur Superintendent of Police D Srinivas Rao.
