villagers protest acquittal in triple murder case; 11 arrested
Akola, Jun 29 (UNI) After the district court here today acquitted all the five accused in a triple murder case, a crowd of villagers tried barged into the court room to vent their ire against the decision forcing the policemen to cane them to prevent them from entering the court.
The policemen arrested 11 people out of the 100- strong mob.
Ramesh Sardar, Ramdas Sardar and Harshwardhan Sardar were murdered in July 2003 in a dispute over drinking water at Goregaon village under Borgaon Manju police station in this district.
However, additional sessions Judge today acquitted the accused in the tripple murder case.
The court will try three juveniles also allegedly involved in the murder case seperatedly.
