USL launches Black Dog Centenary scotch

Mumbai, June 29: Alcohol major United Spirits Limited (USL) has launched the premium scotch whisky 'Black Dog Centenary' in India in order to tap the ever-increasing band of young scotch drinkers.

At the launch ceremony held here last evening, USL President Vijay Rekhi said that a rich and rare eight-year-old blended scotch whisky 'Black Dog Cenenary' comes from a complex blend of 32 fine, aged single malt and grain whiskies. It would be available in Mumbai at an MRP of Rs 1000 for a 750 ml bottle.

''We expect Black Dog Centenary to quickly carve out a large share of the market for itself,'' he said.

To coincide with the launch of the Black Dog Centenary, the company has undertaken a slew of promos, whereby the participants get a chance to win a sports car and a host of other prizes.

This offer will be rolled out in select cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Kolkata and Bangalore.
