Usha Martin wins CSR award

Chennai, Jun 29 (UNI) Usha Martin Limited bagged the first prize for environment friendly industrial practices at the corporate awards ceremony of The Energy Research Institute (TERI) held in New Delhi.

The company got the honours for corporate social responsibility for healthcare services to women and children in the category of corporates of annual turnover of more than Rs 500 crore.

President A P J Abdul Kalam presented the CSR award to Mr B K Jhawar, Chairman of Usha Martin Limited, a company release said here today.
