Uma indicates Third Front formation
Guna, MP, June 29 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti today indicated that her Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) might form a Third Front in alliance with nationalist parties.
''I will soon constitute the front along with former Jharkhand chief minister Babulal Marandi, his Delhi counterpart Madan Lal Khurana and others. We will come to power in several states and the Centre. After October, the BJ will take Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh by storm. It already has a presence in this state,'' she told mediapersons here.
Claiming that the chief ministers of the three states were fearful of the BJ's rising strength, the firebrand sadhvi added that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was still a crowd-puller owing to her allegiance with the Nehru family but she would have no political image if the word Gandhi was deleted from her name.
''I praise the Congress for always keeping the crowd-puller Nehru family in the vanguard but in the BJP, leaders with mass base had their wings clipped,'' she alleged.
