Two die, one injured by lightning

Nagpur. June 29 (UNI) Two persons were killed and one person was injured when lightning struck them during heavy rains at Belona village in Narkhed Taluka of Nagpur district, police said today.

Shrawan Dhaniram Kumare (60), Prakash Nathu Lade (25) and Bhimrao Gajbhiye (16) had taken shelter under a tree in a farm during heavy rains yesterday. Suddenly, lightning struck them killing Shrawan and Bhimrao instantly and injured Prakash seriously.

Prakash was admitted to rural hospital at Narkhed, police added.
