Stone India inks pact with Goodyear

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) Stone India Ltd has tied up with Europe-based Goodyear to introduce air springs for pneumatic suspension system, widely used in the Metro Rail Coaches.

These products will gradually replace the conventional suspension systems for passenger and suburban EMU coaches used in the Indian railways, a company statement said today.

Stone India will supply this system indigenously in co-operation with Goodyear.

This agreement has marked entry of the company into a new high value product segment.

Goodyear is the world's largest tyre making company.
