Silver, gold ease on bearish global advice

Mumbai, June 29: Values of silver and gold opened softer on bearish global advice and poor demand by ornament makers, said traders at the bullion market here today.

Following were the opening rates today: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 16,035, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,755, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,800.
