Sadhu Yadav along with six Legislators externed

Gopalganj, Bihar, June 29 (UNI) RJD MP Anirudh Prasad Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav along with six legislators was today externed for four days from Gopalganj in view of the election to the posts of chairman and deputy chairman of the local district board.

District Magistrate Murlidhar Rai said the leaders had been externed to ensure free and fair election to the posts as their presence in the area could affect the result of the election.

Mr Rai made it clear that externment order would remain in effect from 1800 hrs today till 1500 hrs on July 6. Anyone disobeying the order would be arrested, he warned.

The election to the said posts was slated for tomorrow.

Besides, Mr Yadav, others who were externed included Deodutt Prasad, Ram Pravesh Rai, Subhash Singh, Ram Sevak Singh, Anil Kumar Singh (all MLAs) and Sunil Singh(MLC).
