Indian rupee strong by seven paise

Mumbai, Jun 29: Indian currency today closed strong by seven paise at Rs 46.30/US Dollar compared to yesterday's Rs 46.37/38/US Dolar.

RBI today fixed the reference rate at Rs 46.34/US Dollar.

Rupee also fared well against other currencies, exchange rate for rupee vs euro was Rs 57.95, rupee vs pound sterling was Rs 87.83/85, and against yen the exchange rate was Rs 39.70.

The six months forward premia was fixed at 1.17 per cent and one year at 1.26 per cent.
